Sentinels have officially signed TenZ
It looks like TenZ is set to replace Sinatraa in the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour Masters for Sentinels. We’ve got everything you need to know about the latest replacement, and TenZ coming out of retirement to compete again.
After Esports Organisation, Sentinels, dropped Sinatraa from their lineup, they have now signed TenZ to step up and return to competing in Valorant professionally. TenZ will no longer be a part of C9, in any capacity.
Will TenZ Replace Sinatraa?
TenZ is set to join Sentinels and officially replace Sinatraa in the upcoming Valorant Champions Masters. The decision comes after Sentinels suspended Sinatraa following allegations of abuse against the professional player. Sinatraa was suspended not only by Sentinels but by the official Riot Games team, who have now opened an investigation into the allegations. Sinatraa has been suspended while the investigation is ongoing, and a decision is likely to be made regarding his professional career at Sentinels once the investigation has concluded.
TenZ is now a permanent fixture in the Sentinels Organisations, so it looks like this won’t be his last appearance under the organisation.
The Valorant Masters will take place today (March 12, 2021), Sentinels will take on Luminosity at 12PM PST / 3PM EST / 8PM GMT.
Who Is TenZ?
Tyson Ngo, better known as TenZ, is a professional Counter-Strike and Valorant player who now plays under Sentinels.
TenZ was previously apart of the C9 eSports organisation but retired at the beginning of 2021 in order to focus on content creation, but it looks like his retirement was short lived!
Who Is Sinatraa?
Jay Won is better known as Sinatraa, and is an American professional Valorant player that is currently suspending from competing.
Before competing professionally in Valorant, he competed in Overwatch tournaments and won the Overwatch League in 2019. Sinatraa also represented the United States in the Overwatch World Cup between 2017 and 2019.
